i have a weed eater brand weed eater and the string doesnt last more than 5 mins then i have to respole it.ive tryed some gater brand wire sting but still breaks.my next door neabor has something like a bike chain on the weedeater he bought used.were can i get a non string adapter online are a store for my weedeater our can i make something and how?

Firstly, use 80 gauge line, not 65. Secondly, don't buy those thrid party replacement heads with the fancy plastic blades. Those things bog down the motor on your weedeater. They weigh too much for the weedeater to operate as efficiently. Trust me I have a weedeater, and I just went through all this myself.
Try better quality line if nothing else. Avoid the third party replacement heads! Obviously you have to ensure you are winding the line properly. Then avoid hitting rocks and such with the line.

John Doe brand string last longer I went to LOWES and they recommend John doe replacement string try it u like it I thought they only made Lawn but ther sell weed eaters also Joy Jesus on Urside and Family

Take it to Home Depot.

They'll find one that works for your mower and tell you how to install it.

The adapters I've seen are either metal or plastic blades, 3 in a circular formation.

Be careful what you're whackin' with it though, because they don't give like the string does :)
