Anyone nostalgic for Bill Clinton ought to be considered for a straight jacket.

I don't know if it's the strongest indictment, but it's up there. I never thought that Clinton was the worst President since Nixon. Compared to what we have now he was top notch. I had no complaints about Bill Clinton, he just shouldn't have lied. I don't see any point in trying to erase everything good he did in his Presidency because he committed perjury though, especially for the reason he did. The nightmare we have now is about 10 times worse than the mostly decent 8 years of Bill Clinton.

No, most people like peaceful times. Now that we are at war it is not comfortable and most Americans are living an easy life. We are a soft society and therefor have a hard time adjusting to the thought of a long hard war. Old saying"When the going gets tough the tough get going." Our men and women in the military understand this and accept this as part of their job. Until the American public understands this and gets into the same mine set as our military they will always long for the good old days with Bill.

Bill Clinton did not start an illegal war that is killing thousands! I'll take a sex scandal any day of the week, compared to what Georgie has done!!
Bill cleared the books, and left us in the black for the first time in quite a while! And he left a surplus! So what happened to that?
We are in the hole so far, my great grandchildren will still be paying for his war!
Nostalgic for the Clinton days? You bet our soliers lives I am!

Given the way the howling wolves of the right went after Bill Clinton from the second he declared he planned to run for president, you have to admit he managed to deal with these relentless mad dogs without hardly breaking a sweat. In the end, he was the last man standing....as the Mexicans say, 'mucho hombre'! If he didn't have to spend eight solid years fending off an army of yammering second raters, goofball talk show morons and Jesus freak lunatics one can only imagine how much more successful his presidency would have been. I hope that after we manage to put the entire Bush Junta to sleep that part of the GOP will scuttle back under the rock they came from. God help us if we have to endure another horse's @ss like George Bush.

Very few are nostalgic for Clinton. Most couldn't wait until that debacle was over. Did he EVER tell the truth? I can't recall. Probably because no one knew if what he was saying was truth or fiction. All I remember is his lies never stopped. Then the stunt his staff pulled the day they left office topped it off. Remember that? Real class.
By the way. He is the reason we are having the problems we see today. His dismantling of the security and military we had in place led to this. Yeah, there may have been some economic advantages but we're paying dearly for it now. Thanks Clinton.

Clinton ran around the Republican-led Legislative branch and proved that America could be deficit-free.
Clinton should not have let himself be impeached over a purely personal matter, and he paid dearly for that.
Clinton was intelligent and made a very good president. He made us look good overseas, and he never fell below 58% in the national approval ratings even after the impeachment.

The strongest indictment of Bush's Presidency is Bush himself.

Bill Clinton is the only 'good' thing Democrats have to cling to in the last 27 years. Of course they are nostalgic for him. Me? Not so much. In fact, he could fall off the face of the earth and I wouldn't be concerned.
