If you've just started taking Yaz, you need to wait atleast a month before it will start working and regulate your period... So, in the meantime if you do plan on having sex use a back-up method for awhile... Which you should be doing anyway to prevent STD's... Also, it would've been helpful to read the info packet that comes along with your pill and to maybe listen to your doctor... The sugar pills (placebo) you should take them all and then you should get your period.. Also, please remember to take your pill at the same time everyday or at the very least one hour before/after the usual time... Any time after that and there's a chance that it could not work....

When you first start birth control after an already messed up period, it could take up to 3 months to get a normal period. I think if you were pregnant the test you took last month would have been positive, give the BC a chance to work.
