I would say the minimum safe size would be 20' diagonal if you have the deck space. That is about the smallest helideck that our pilots will land on out here on out production platforms.

I am sorry you would need a cutter or small ship for helicoptors to land on. at least 90 feet long to support a 20 by 20 foot pad. That is bell jet rangers and other small Helos. Have support items like kerosene JP-4 fuel and avation radios. Noise. I prefeer a 1949 chris craft 6 cyl launch to ferry guests to and from. Unless you want a floating retreat just off in international waters.

Depends on the size of helicopter itself. Anyway it should be not less than 15-20 feets
