There are different membership levels and fees at the YMCA. Check with your local Y for its rates. Also, financial aid is available for those who qualify and the YMCA will neve rturn anyone away based on the inabiltiy to pay ( =

Also, if you get a job there as a babysitter, front desk girl, instructor or whatever, you get the membership free so it's kind of like being paid to go to the Y. Might want to look into that if you are old enough!

Yes, the YMCA does have a membership fee. The fee depends on the individual YMCA. In my experience, YMCA rates are comparable to the rates of local gyms.
