When the war ended Lincoln ordered the band to play Dixie saying "it is now ours". It was never an official song nor anthem for the South. The in 1931 the yankee Congress enacted legislation that made "The Star-Spangled Banner" their official national anthem.

There is no anthem for The Confederate States of America . If you are referring to "Dixie" , then there are thousands of recordings of it . If you are wanting to know who the composer is , then the one who was given credit for it was
