I just found out that i was pregnant about a week and a half ago and when i took it it came up a really REALLY faint positive went to the docs and still came up a faint positive but just like the nurse said its still a positive and i'm probably in my early stages. But I was just wondering to be stupid that If I would take another pregnancy test if it would come up darker since its a week and a half later?

When I took my first test I was barely 5 weeks along and it was very faint, but positive. Took another test the same day and it was also positive. About 2 weeks later I took another one, and it was darker and popped up immediately. Once your body is producing more and more HcG, I think that's when the test comes up darker! Go ahead and give it a try!

When I was pregnant with my son all I got was faint positives, I stopped taking tests after the doc confirmed I was def pregnant. A faint line is a positive no matter what unless you have a faulty test which is rare. A pregnancy tests detects HCG, a pregnancy hormone that can only be detected when pregnant, no other time! Congratulations... have a safe and healthy pregnancy!

Yes it should be darker now. The pregnancy hormone increases constantly while you are pregnant. But seeing a faint line shows a positive and there are very very few false positives, so what is the point of taking another.....anyway congratulations on your Pregnancy!!

The further along you get in your pregnancy the more progesterone will show up in your system. It may be darker but it may not. It just depends on how much progesterone is in your urine.

it proballyt would be alot clearer but theres no point really cause uv seen the doctor and thast just wasting money after all any positive is still a positive

It probably would come out darker if your Hcg levels have come up.

Most likely it would because your hCG levels would be higher.
