It all boils down to the rubber compound. The higher the rating number the better the wear.

typically the lower profile (45) but keep in mind it is smaller if the first # in the size is the same. The right tire for your car will not be any smaller than the original equipment in the overall diameter. Different brands wear out at different rates, generally speaking, the higher performance tires wear out faster because the rubber compound is formulated more for a better grip of the road. The ultra high mileage rated tires have a harder rubber compund but wont hold the road as well in a hard turn. UTQG #'s are somewhat helpful in trying to see which tire will last longer.

I don't believe that there is a lot of difference. That is just the aspect ratio of the sidewall height. Proper inflation, and how hard you are on take-offs and stops will have more influence on tire wear. Good luck.
