My birthday is coming up and my mom is getting me Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but I can't decide whether to get it for Xbox 360 or for the Laptop. Any help?

It all depends on HOW you prefer to play your games:

The 360 controller is much easier to handle than a keyboard/mouse combo - but many gamers have already mastered it...

Playing on the big screen - you can always hook your computer up to your TV (depending on your video card)...

Custom mods - you can create/download thousands of user-created (and official) mods for the PC version (I think that there are some available on Live though)...

The choice is yours to make ;););)

Currently both versions have a lock out glitch in the 50-200 hour game play time. a patch has been released for the PC version but no patch has been released for the 360 version thru live.

I have it on 360 and I love it. But....I think I would rather have it on the computer. If you are looking into downloading extra content and making your own armour and stuff then the computer version would be better for you.

It depends on how good your laptop is. i would get it for 360 just in case.
But for the PC version you can download mods that can change the gameplay.

I would say Xbox, because it's such a huge game, unless you have a really fast computer it will load pretty slowly. Plus, it looks so awesome on a big screen.
