RE What's the cheapest new car in terms of insurance?
Strictly in terms of insuring the vehicle, which new vehicle would be the cheapest? Preferably an SUV, but a sedan would do as well.

A sedan is much cheaper. SUV's are very expensive to insure, Sometimes three times as much as a regular car. They are expensive to buy and they get in lots of accidents , driven by inexperienced drivers.

an SUV will not be cheap......period. it's not your 'SUV' they're worried about, it's who's car you hit. get a 4 cylinder 4 door sedan. your insurance will be like $40 a month xD
