My friend's grandmom has cancer and skin cancer runs in my family. How about you?

A close friend of mine died last year from a brain tumour. Another friend has been diagnosed with leukemia recently and my uncle has bowel cancer.

Yes, cancer runs in my mom's side of the family. My grandmother and my grandfather both had cancer. My aunt had cancer. Two of my cousin's had cancer, and my great uncle had cancer. I also had a real good friend to get cancer too. =(

Two of my grandmother's brothers and my grandmother died from cancer. My hubby's great-aunt has had cancer a few times, as has my best-friend's dad. My sister-in-law's best friend also has cancer. There are probably more, but I can't remember offhand.

My cousin's best friend (8 years old) has brain cancer. He just underwent surgery and he has been very badly affected. He used to be in little league, now he walks like a puppet and can barely talk.

My mom had melahnoma many years ago. She had is removed before it spread and she was ok. My brother was thought to have it, but didn't. My grandpa had lung cancer. I am no sure if it runs in my family, but so far I am ok. Good luck and best wishes to your grandma.

yes.. my dad died from lung cancer... my mom currently has breast cancer but seems to be responding well to treatment.
Cancer is such an unpredictable disease, and so many different types.. I wonder if there ever will be a cure for cancer.

My grandpa has cancer of the blood and when i was born 25 yrs ago they gave him 6 months to live and he is still kickin!!

My sister had breast cancer, it went away but now it spread to her liver and spine.... My other sister and her daughter both had cervical cancer but they are fully cured of that....As for me, I too scared to go get checked

Yeah... Breast cancer has infected my mom and a couple of aunts... but yeah... Its scary because I'm always with that thougt that I will eventually have it.

My father passed away a year ago with lung cancer, it was not a pretty sight....
