im 13 and have been on a swim team for about a year
is this a good time..
ok on the hundred free (yards) i have a 1.06? and in the 50 i have a 29.6?

I'm a Australian swimmer so my calculations might be a bit off cause we use meters instead of yards!
If my maths is okay than those times are quite competitive for a thirteen year old girl! Keep up the good work, remember practice makes perfect and aim for the moon and even if you miss you'll still land amongst the stars

That's actually pretty good for the amount of time you have been swimming. Next year good goals should be a 59 in the 100 free and a low-mid 27 in the 50 free. Keep swimming!

Pretty good! If you can go below 1:00 in the 100 and drop to a 27 or below in the 50 you'll be looking really nice next season! As a coach I encourage you to keep training the way you are, you're definitely on the right track to making your mark in high school and club swimming!!!

That's pretty impressive.
Considering you've only swam for a year, that is not all that bad.
I know people that have been swimming for 5 or more years and can't swim a 1:05 in the 100 free.

considering your age and experience that is very good any thing under 30 in a 50 is something to be proud of!

they're pretty good, I had a 28.4 in my 50 free when I was 9 though.... but that's just me you'll get better over time! keep up the good work!!

those times sound great, and competitive if you want to swim in high school. mine were about like yours when I was 16.
