Agreed.

Eliminate all the perks of the office as well:

-Use of Air Force 2 (he can fly in a small Gulfstream jet like Pelosi and Reid)
-Secret Service Protection (no more than Pelosi or Reid gets)
-Use of the Naval Observatory mansion
-Presidential Limos (he can use public transportation or supply his own)
-Loss of VP annual salary (not that it matters to a man whose self worth has increased $10 million since he took office)
-Revoke Top Secret Security Clearance (and charge him with outing a CIA agent since his security clearance as President of the Senate would not legally allow him to out a CIA agent without recourse)

Relocate the office to a underground bunker.
Take the wireless gadgets away.
Cut the wires.
Seal the doors until 1/20/09.

The position of Vice president is a bridge office. The vice president is neither the executive in total or legislative in total. It shares in some part in both.

You bet , I hope they keep after him and cut off all his funds. What good is he far, nothing. He does nothing but get a free ticket to spew hate just about as bad as old Horse Face Ann Coulter.
Really what does he do except run around free loading off of the tax payers, he doesn't do a thing but flop his fat a** behind that desk and takes care of all the missing money and Haliburton. He isn't use for anything other than taking all he can get from the tax payers , he isn't ever doing anything. He stays hunting shooting people in the face and running around with his smart mouth popping off. He is another one I really have no use what so ever.

I agree...the vice president is just a figure head...however, it is nice to know an elected official would be next in line to the presidency!

that's funny...according to the US Constitution the office of the vice president is clearly part of the government. Care to prove your ignorance any further?

No--its part of the government. And accordng to the "damn piece of paper" Bush doesn't like--part of the executive branch.

But I have a better idea: either Cheney plays ball--or impeach and convict the SOB.
