How can i get articles for my new site?

I'm about to open a new site about news, articles and blogs. I would like some ways to get the initial articles/news (even before opening date) in my site so people don't run away because they don't find nothing to read.

You could post some off the wall news, that you can get from Yahoo's oddly enough website, here is an example..good luck>>

you can pilfer them of the internet, as long as you give credit to the author.
