I know you're defending the character Chris Benoit from Smackdown and ecw not the real life Chris Benoit the man
who we barely knew
so tell me why should we defend a stone cold murderer. What did he do to be defended by the fans
and please dont tell me that just cuz he was a great wrestler and dedicated himself to wrestling therefore we should defend his heinous act
and let me add, if he was so dedicated to wrestling then he would have wrestled for his ecw title and not make excuse and go back to kill his family
he was a coward
now ur turn

As a "sports entertainer", he was an excellent actor.

As a human, he stunk to high heaven with that murder he committed. Since his child had a disability, he could have had the best childcare and medical treatment for him due to his salary. Marital counseling could have helped too!

Wrestling, wrasslin' or sports entertainment is fake and whomever believes what happens on that stage is real, is cuckoo and needs their brains checked. It's just a violent soap opera with T&A added in to make kids weird.

First of all Benoit was a very intense guy, i was a fan of his and I'll give him his props for everything he has accomplished. Anyway not to take his side but since there was no suicide note to my knowledge, how do they know Benoit was not called home because Nancy might have smothered the child, after all she was with him all day, everyday, while Benoit was on tour, then he is called by her to come home, he gets home and the boy is dead, then he flips out and kills her in a fit of rage. Then after sitting around, freaking out that his son and wife are gone, kills himself. Isnt this a possible scenario? I dont know but blaming wrestling for this is crazy, no one is forced to wrestle, they decide if they want the spotlight on them and to be in the title picture they must do what they have to or someone else will. Im sure Vince is an ***, like im told but he is running a business just like anyone else, hell, how many people like there boss. You make the choice...This is just an opinion.....thanks

The character was a wrestling god. Anyone with any respectable wrestling knowledge will tell you that character knew every possible way to make you kiss that mat and then beg for you to kiss his feet. And he made you watch and he made his story be told in the ring and not with over the top antics. That character had a lot of respect from me because he didn't need goofball antics to tell his story.

You can not defend the killing of an innocent child no matter what your skill level was or how much respect you had in and out of the ring. When he did that, the legacy, the work, the memories he gave us were wiped away in that instant. It doesn't matter anymore because all that is replaced with the memory of a murdered child.

If you watch/ have watched his biography video you will clearly see he was a family loving and kind man, He was religious, he talked about his family a lot in the video and he also tried his best at everything at WWE.com it says that his wife was asphyxiation and not beaten and there were no illegal drugs used. most people wouldn't believe what was posted on WWE.com because they know that WWE will want to try and keep a good name but faith is one of the only things we can have, no one really knows why people do a lot of the things they do. but when you have a nervous break down or an attack of some kind you have trouble controlling your actions, normally i am a nice person who trys to be nice to everyone but I had a nervous break down in class and told my teacher and 4 best friends off. So i know from experience that you have trouble controlling what you do, but I'm not trying to say that he didn't or that he did kill his family I am trying to say that I don't think he would have the heart to, No one on here knew him personally I am assuming but we did know him in a way and what ever you fell happened is the best thing to believe I am on the fence because It could happen but still there is a high chance he didn't mean the harm he did. He was only human and that's all he will ever be.

He put 20+ years in the industry.
He talked to and 'helped' a lot of other fellow wrestlers in their difficult times, but failed to help himself.
I'm thinking he took on too many other persons demons, that he never delt with his own.
Now, let me ask you this, Mr-Your turn. Would you go to work the next day with a broken rib or thumb or risk your life if you had a surgically repaired neck? This is the type of stress that wrestlers have to endure. Now I'm not saying Chris Benoit is innocent nor that he didn't commit a heinous act, BUT there was a reason behind it, one we probably will never find out. Myself, as I stated above, he took on too many peoples personal demons, that he failed to take on his own.

Do we all know what really truly happen in that home during Saturday through to Sunday no we dont. Not even the police have a clear idea what happened.Everyone is making assumptions on what happened what couldve happened. As each day passes by more eveidence comes into play.More chances to put all the pieces together in their correct place. But everyone keeps jumping into conclusions.Fans are fans and Im one of them I respect that guy for what he did in that ring every single night. The fact that he did such thing has be confused, shocked, and indenial. But Im here waiting for the trutth to come out.I dont respect the fact for what he "did".But I do hope him and his family rest in peace.

Divide Benoit into 2 men. The Family dedicated, wrestling lover. altheltic mastermind, is the first man. The killing madman who killed his own family is the 2nd one. Benoit was on the road 300 days of the year wrestling. 55 days he got to see his family, and before he "killed them" he loved them. Why the fack are you claming he killed them . He could of came home to them dead, or suicide could have been planned. You depend on the backbone of the media which has rubbed their ignorant facts in our faces. We honor the first man, but if indeed the acts that were happened, we do not honor the 2nd man.

Why do other murderers get off with no conviction or anything b/c their found to be mentally ill? Their being defended, too, because they're a schizo. Back to you, anything else?
