She seemed like a petulant teenager when confronted with her own bad behavior.

Your characterization was spot on, she acted like a petulant teenager sidestepping the issue. I don't think anyone is surprised. It's sad to see someone that well-educated and intelligent use their talent in harmful, hateful ways.

Does she have a point when she questions John Edwards taking money from poor groups for making speeches? Certainly, but that doesn't excuse mocking the man's dead son. All that does is further divisiveness in America which in turn only helps our enemies.

Elizabeth Edwards really put Ann Coulter in her place. That would be the place of evil liar and the use of John Edwards Sons death in her column for money was wrong. Coulter will get hers when she stands before GOD.

I have always liked Ann Coulter. She is an attractive woman. She is smart. She speaks her mind. She can hold her own verbally with any man or woman.
Elizabeth Edwards is used for sympathy. I don't watch her & John much but she seems to always bring her cancer and deceased child into the conversation. She did it again with Coulter.

I've hardly ever been concerned with what other people thought unless I was actually talking with them. Furthermore, I have no clue of any banter between the two persons mentioned. I consider that a blessing so that I could continue to remain focused on more important issues.

Notice that Elizabeth Edwards was asking her to stop making hateful statements and Coulter responded with things like "so you want me to stop writing books". Funny that even Coulter admits that her books are based entirely on hate.

My opinion of Ann Coulter has never changed and I don't see
any reason for it to change now.

No, it hasn't. I'm a conservative but I can't stand Coulter. She's an ignorant, hard headed, loud mouthed bigot. She's one of those people who thinks she's funny, but isn't.

Normally I wouldn't wish throat cancer on anyone, but if it would shut her up....

I neither like nor dislike her.
She makes people think.
I don't agree with everything she says but, if I were on the battlefield with only one other person, and my choices were Ann Coulter or John Edwards . . . well, it should be obvious which of the two . . .

I can't believe people pay to buy her books and hear her speak. She didn't even have the guts to answer Elizabeth Edwards. She reminds me of Bush, doesn't listen to anyone, has no brain, and has a big mouth.

No. Neither did my opinion of Bill Maher (Whose statement she was refering to), when he talked about how he wanted Cheney done in by Terrorists.
They are both commentators looking to piss people off. By the looks of it, it's working.....
