Let's write our own immigration reform plan...?

Mine begins with ending entitlements to all ILLEGALS-legal non citizens get limited benefits. Secure borders and more border patrol (National Guardsmen in huge numbers). Once these tasks are complete we can deport the 27% of our prison population (these are the illegal criminals). That should free up a lot of space. As more undocumented aliens are arrested-they are deported immediately--no costly trial-they are NOT citizens-they're not entitled to the benefits of OUR constitution-they need to G-O!. Those hard workers who've established roots and are self supporting need to pay their fines (more than the proposed $5K) and EARN the right to be called Americans over 15 years (much like the current proposal). What would you add?

Nicole-27% of our prison population are ILLEGALS. We have them locked up-put them on a plane, boat or whatever and send them HOME. It costs $40K+/yr/illegal inmate--I think we could do THAT part of the deportation quite easily. We want the convicts to LEAVE (permanantly).

Any illegal that turns in an employer is awarded a fee equal to but not to exceed the cost of his fine,reestablished higher in the line ,which leads to citizenship,the fee,and additional monies,to be paid by the corrupt employer,at the tune of say 100K per violation. The easiest way to curb illegal immigration is to remove the job magnet that attracts them.

2. How are you going to deport 27% of illegal immigrants?
3. How are you going to arrest and deport more illegals??
4. How can you do that with no money or no cost?
5. What gives you the right to be called American..Just curious cause I am an American whos most dominat language is not English and who was born in another country? But still American, by birth..so not sure about what it means for you to be an American please explain.

I would like to add...The ones that are Against the Bill, I do not have any problems supporting them, if they show me a valid, detailed, reasonable and realistic propossal.

Mine has 3 elements.
1) Secure the border.
2) Crack down on those who hire & rent to illegals.
3) Set realistic quotas for legal immigration.
