You would hate him for what he did.

If it were some ordinary guy who wasnt on TV every week and you heard that he killed his wife, son, and himself. Would you say
"Wow..I hope he has done other things in his life to be proud of"

No! you would feel angry and disgusted that someone would do that, it doesn't matter if hes famous, if hes the best technical wrestler, or if hes very well respected.

Killing your wife and son shouldn't be overlapped by an amazing wrestling career.

I do agree with u but I also agree with the majority. We donot know what was going through his head at the time and the only people that do r dead and gone. Remember the Beniot from Japan, WCW, WWF(WWE) and ECW. We respect the wrestler and will greatly miss 1 of the best technical wrestlers in the buisness. I know I have had some personal strife in my life and we donot know what this man was going through at the time to not only take his own life but his wife and son. I am a Christain but any thing that he did wrong will be judge by God and he alone will decide. We have no clue what was going on in Beniot personal life and what would have caused for him to do it but it had to be so extreme that he felt the way he did. So we should remember him the way a true fan of wrestling would as to Chris Beniot... a 4 Horseman, a Rabid Wolverine, A Champion and a person who loved his friend Eddie to hopefully he sees him again and doing a great match wherever 1 more time.

I completely agree..look i have been a pro wrestling fan since the 80's, so you can have respect for someone who is technically good at wrestling, but to "pay respects" to a man - cuz when it's all said and done, thats all he is - kills his wife and son, then his wrestling abilities are completely overshadowed by his crime. God doesn't care if you're an actor, rapper, football player or wrestler. A murderer is a murderer no matter how you label it. I thought he was a good entertaining wrestler, but now he is just a murder who took his life like a coward and unfortunately his innocent family with him.

You make a strong point, but reports have stated that he had drugs in his system, so maybe it was the drugs. Why would he give up the perfect life? He had a beautiful wife that was with him, even in WCW, a son and two daughters, plus his dream job.

There's no question that I am disappointed with his actions, but he's facing his judgment right now and I have no say in the matter. I can only reflect on the Chris Benoit that I remember from WCW and WWF(now WWE). I appreciate and love everything he did for the business despite his actions he took against his family. I may be in the minority for saying this, but that's how I feel about the matter.

Very true but every other person here has their way of doing things. Not all of us might feel the same way as the other person or as me or as you.If it were some ordinary guy they probably wouldnt even put so much effort into trying to make sure that he didnt do it.Everyone has their own opinion and Im expressing mine.Dont care on how everyone takes it.But everyone who does such horrible things get their punishment sooner or later.I still cant believe he did such thing but I know he will get his punishment for doing this type of thing.

But you know what though, even though you're right you still have to honor the wrestling life he lived.

R.I.P. Chris, Nancy and Daniel Benoit

I know that nothing can make up for murder. I can honor Benoit the wrestler, but thats about it, after that nothing more. The sad truth is that he's a killer, and you cant honor a killer.
