Well, to be fair. All of the questions are going to be from people that are having problems. Don't often hear the following question, "My life is great, I love my husband and the sex is great. My kids get good grades and they are sooo healthy. What should I do?"

I do understand what you mean though, Some of the questions make you wonder what people are thinking and it seems like everybody can't cope with the fact that life isn't a fairy tale or a chick flick romance.

Life is full of it's ups and downs no matter what part of the world you are from. Finding another person or group of people with whom to vent and sometimes get an encouraging word or two is what helps make America the wonderful nation it is.

For once it's nice to see people talking - yes- some people get rude or judgemental - but that is their issue.

All in all each person on here has a question and no matter what their question or reason, they get answers & you are noone to judge because you sit and go through it all.

One could say that your own issue is not having an interesting life or that you are consumed by other peoples issues.

I went to college with alot of people from different cultures &
some of my friends felt the same way. The divorce rate in America IS over 50%, I don't know why, but i've noticed that men from alot of other cultures don't respect women. I'm not hating on anybody, I am American;however, my parents are immigrants too, its just an observation.

So your question is....What, exactly?

The reason why you feel American domestic life seems so crappy is because many people who post dumb things are young kids who have a lot of time on their hands.
Most of the things you read here are totally made up, IMO.

(You have to really sort out the kind of posts that sound legitimate.... and if you can help someone out, great.)

Glad to hear your problems are nowhere as serious as other people's.....

Remember that there are over 100 million married people in the U.S. .This is a small sample of unhappy people. Happy people are unlikely to get on here and write about how great life is. Do not overgeneralize from this small a group.

If you believe any of this stuff is real you are being foolish.
This sort of message board is run on a shock value idea.
What horrible thing can someone write and get advise for.
Most of the people don't even read the the full question and just jump in condemning someone or thing about something.

It is sad the state of marriage today...I thank God that inspite of the struggles we face, which pale in comparison to what I read here, that we are in love and happy and respect each other and the vows we made to one another...

I agree. I think many of the problems people have are a result of laziness and selfishness.
