So, you guys may have or may start going into some sort of jobs right???

Well, I'm hunting for jobs and I was wondering, how do you format your resumes???

I don't have a lot of experience yet since this is going to be a first for me, but I have volunteered.

Mine is a overview at the top then experience then education.

For a young worker I would start with the overview. Introduce yourself, then education to the point of individual relevant classes and list your volunteer jobs at the bottom.

Example:
Ambitious young worker looking for a first job. I have taken classes in Excel, Word and Access and used them in my volunteer work. I am a quick study and can pick up software and learn it without formal classes. I have used Peachtree and Quicken and various proprietary software programs.

Education
High school 2004
Community college degree in office machines 2006
Trade school 2007

Experience
American Cancer society 2002-2004
Office assistant. Typing, filing, making coffee and other duties as assigned.
Girl Scouts 2002-2007
Assistant troop leader. Organizing activities for the troop and supervising cookie sales.
Middleton High School 2002-2004
Drama club treasurer. Accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconsilation as well as presenting accounting information to adult staff.
