I really don't have a source for the topic I brought up, it is just a rumor and speculation. The main topic is the problems that will be caused in the last movie because they changed a significant event in the third movie from what was written in the book. What event do you think it was? Also, someone mentioned that a Horcrux could not be a living animal, but in the sixth book, Dumbledore mentions it could possibly be Nagini, the snake. So I guess this has two questions, the second being what is the last Horcrux?

i heard that they were going to take something out from the 6th movie that would effect the 7th movie. that means a character that we were introduced in will play a big role in the seventh book, which i assume is Slughorn. for the second question.... nagini probably is a horcrux... i dont know anything about crookshanks being a horcrux though..well, we'll see everything in 26 days.

Ok, as I just said in your other question, the movie problem seems to be they protrayed Crookshanks as a normal house cat. He's a crossbreed, part house cat and part kneazle. Because kneazles can detect unsavory or suspicious pepole, they react badly to them. Crookshanks wasn't just hunting Scabbers because he was a rat as an ordinary house cat might, he was attacking a suspicious character. And he could tell Sirius was innocent, which is why he defended him. The movie would lead you to belive he was just a plain house cat.

As for the second, it is possible to use a living being as a horcrux, but it is highly unwise. The whole point of a horcrux is to have a place to safely store a piece of your soul. A living creature can die, taking any piece of a persons soul with it. It would not have to be destroyed in the usual way a non-living object would.

ok heres the deal with crookshanks, no he is not very significant, at least i dont think. he is not an animagus, Jo said so. she actually said somthing along the lines of "no, crookshanks isnt an animagus; but he isnt a full cat either," that is beacause it was revealed that crookshanks is part kneazle. and I dont think theres a possibility that crookshanks is a horcrux. idk what the problem was with the third movie; possibly that it foreshadows the whole Ron and Hermione thing too much (sorry, H/HR shippers, i think you all got hit on the head by some ANVIL-sized hints and it addled your brains. well, dont worry, we'll have the whole hting figured out in 23 days!!!
