Imagination, unless one is deceased, will never cease to exist. No external influence can cause the stopping of imagination, as George Orwell's book "1984" proves. In the worst era of mankind, where even thinking thoughts against the government is a capital crime, the main character Winston Smith and others bravely defy the rules and imagine what life could have been if Communism hadn't ruined the earth.

Even though you may not think you do you imagine everyday. You may imagine that you saw something, or maybe your imagining that maybe in 5 seconds a robber might sneak in. You even imagine in your dreams. You have 5-10 dreams in a night. Usually you only remember 1 or 2 of them. So no, imagination can't be stopped.

I believe you can stop imagination. I would think that it would take a lot to stop it. You can't just wake up, and not imagine things. Theres quite a bit that a person does in a day that uses his/her imagination.

It's always at work.
