Well, Larry McMurtry wrote some pretty popular westerns. *The Lonesome Dove series, Buffalo Girls...* Try those first, then move on to Louis Lamour and Zane Grey. I don't know if they're popular anymore, but they're very good nonetheless.

I think there are still a lot of people who read westerns although they are not as popular as they once were. Luke Short, Louis L'Amour, and the classic Zane Grey are well known western writers.

I don't know too awful much about westerns, but Steven King's Dark Tower series has some western elements and they're very, very good.

Tony Hillerman has a huge list of books set in the American West. His books are Native American Murder mysteries/thriller. He also has written many non-fiction books concerning the American West.

ok so i was supposed to get my period yesterday but there was no sign of it, today i got a lil like light brown discharge, no alot not even enough to get on my pad. and today i was a bit more annoyed by people. so do you think i might have a late period? what can it be???
