2WD means 2 wheel drive.
4WD means 4 wheel drive.
In the case of the 2007 CRV
2WD means it is front wheel drive only.
Front wheel drive means the front wheels
move the car by using force developed by the engine.

2wd means 2 Wheel drive...its mostly used for FWD (front wheel drive) cars......only front two tires are connected to engine to move vehicle.....mostly japanese cars....
