Has anyone considered that there might be another group (with a completely different agenda, on the road to the White House) benefitting from those two being spotlighted?
Whatever we might hope for progressively- for our country, fact is there are enough backward-thinking voters who intend to have their say in '08, that could keep them out of office.
Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe there are enough registered and acting voters of the demographics who would vote for them.
Or maybe I've sniffed something that will send the Republicians laughing right back into the White House...
well?

Hoping to get good answers despite my subtlities and vagueness, if must have more detail, ask.

Let's be civil please and thank you.

From what I understand the republicans have the most to gain. I think the only one they really worried about was John Edwards, and they have been hammering him 24/7. Keep Hillary and Barack in front to the end and then crush them is the idea. I don't know who to vote for yet. I go with whoever will do the least harm or the most good.

Presumably the one's whose early contributions to thier campaigns have bought them 'access,' since whichever one of them wins the primary is prettymuch gauranteed the job.

The Republicans have just imploded. With the Amnesty Bill on top of the Iraq War, few Democrats will be crossing the aisle in the next election, and even some Reps might consider doing so. Many conservatives will simply stay home on election day - sheer depression.

Honestly, do you really believe anyone who gets elected will do anything differently from the way Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have done things?

No way.

ALL the candidates are paid for by the same interests. It doesn't matter who has the spotlight, who is a decoy, who is a sock puppet, etc. In the end, the people with the money can buy ANYONE who gets elected.

The Nation gains because they will not get elected!!!!
If they do you better hope that the Speaker of the House is good because, the powers that be will not tolerate either one and (if they are one the same ticket) they will both be assassinated! The KKK will see to that!!
However I will not vote for either one!!

Kevorkian as a Conservative allow me to be the first to inform you that we don't fall to depression, and we will come out in mass and cast votes against these 2 losers just as we did to Gore and Kerry!!!!!

I think Americans are so disenchanted with Republicans that they will overcome whatever personal prejudices they have to vote for the Democratic candidate.

Bill Clinton has the most to gain. Hillary can't watch him all the time if she is on the road.
