I know gay twins, too. I'm sure there has to be a set of twins out there where only one is gay, though. I think its just genetics at random.

I know of a few gay people who are a twin who's twin isn't gay.
One gay guy has a straight twin brother and a lesbian I know has a straight twin brother.
Twins don't always share the same sexual preference. I'm not sure about genetics and how close a twin is genetically. Perhaps it depends on what kind of twin you are, there are at least a couple of kinds aren't there?
As for the dna going 'wrong' well thats just all a matter of perspective isn't it? It would be like saying "darn my child has brown eyes when I wanted him to have blue, something went WRONG with his DNA darnit."

There is nothing "wrong" with these twins, nothing went wrong. Not to be mean but you should really think out your words carefully especially on such a touchy matter.
I always knew something was different about me, when I was as young as preschool I knew I was attracted to girls and not boys. I never said anything because I was told that girls and boys can only be together not girl and girl, but I could not help what I felt so today I am proud to say that I am in a relationship with a girl. You cannot be taught to be gay its just who you are and those around you are just going to have to accept it or move along.

you know ive read a few of these answers and a lot of them seem to resolver around what u said about it being wrong in the DNA. I dont think she meant it that way guys.
Anyway it could just be that whole twin telepathy. Or maybe scientist are right and it has to do with something in the brain and both twins got that gene. Or it could be a coinkydink.

there have been homosexuals since the dawn of man, written about since records were kept. The gene for this is NOT a mutation, it is simply a recessive, like blue eyes or blonde hair. Being a recessive, in order to be expressed it has to be reinforced by another recessive. It is the same way with blue eyes, blonde hair and a host of other recessive gene qualities. Honey, it just plain is human.

i do no longer know approximately that, yet i've got heard that in the process maximum situations twins of the comparable gender one finally ends up being at recent and the different gay. So one in each and every of each and every sexual orientation even although they're thoroughly alike in each and every opposite direction. That destroys the atmosphere thought.

Why does something have to wrong with their DNA? If someone with brown eyes has a baby with blues eyes, do you think something is wrong with their DNA?
They are both gay, that's all there is to it. Chances were prtty slim that they would both be gay, but there you go. Nothing is impossible.

I know a Brother & Sister both are gay, I also know a set of female twins, both are gay. I really don't have any theories on this one, I just look at people equally, we are all children of one God.

I'm gay and I have gay cousins.
My friend is a twin, he's gay and his twin brother is bisexual.
I have another friend who's gay and his older brother is also gay.
I have a str8 male friend who's cousins are gay and they're both brothers.
So, I believe that it's in the dna.
