I'm done with politics. I am 19 and I dont think I will ever vote in my lifetime. Politics are just a succession of robber barons screwing us over more and more every term.

Yes. I have been involved in two campaigns trying to remove the deadwood we send from Hawaii. We did not succeed. But we got our Republican Governor elected after years of Democratic BS and old boy standards.
You really can not ever be done here. You just press on. When it appears all is lost some days you win one.
I do believe that elected officials should be required to step down when they run for alternate office. They really can not serve two masters.
Pissed. YOU BET! What about Iraq? What are their priorities? We must VOTE to make changes. We got fooled by these promises and this should be a RED FLAG that propaganda flows and no body knows... Demand more if it means going Independent or staying away from these folks with two jobs. AT 14% ib the polls that represents their performance. So tell me how can I believe Hillary and her polls? AND she will do more as top dog than as Senator. More deception and distractions in my opinion. Thank you very much.

Here's the truth and it's nasty. American citizens have been left behind in the minds of their elected officials. The U.S. politicians see Americans as dumb and vulnerable, ready for exploitation.
Most U.S. politicians are globalists who see a future for the North and Central American continents that resembles the European Union with a communist/socialist government. These "elected" officials are pushing for extreme changes in the U.S. regardless of the wishes of the citizens of the United States. Globalism makes strange bed fellows like the Kennedys, Clintons, and Bushes being allied, all on the same side, regardless of how Americans vote. The belong to secret societies and attend meetings where the future of the U.S. is decided without the vote of the people.
If you and the people you know and love want the US. to continue as a country, you face some difficult decisions including overthrowing the current powers that are directing your country toward a far different future than you can imagine.
There will be no middle class and little freedoms for those who work for a living. The standard of living for Americans will plummet, the American Constituion will no longer be a viable document of freedom. You have to ask yourself is it worth the effort--do you want to fight for what your ancestors fought to give you?

I don't believe senators or representatives are subject to recalls elections like the one that toppled CA Gov Davis.
All you can do is vote out the incumbent in the next election - that is, if you can convince the strong majority of his party in the gerrymandered district you live in, in spite of the millions his party, campaign contributor, and special intersts spend to keep him in office. If you succeed, all you've done is places a different special-interest driven shill from the other party in office.
Doesn't sound to promising, does it?

Organize, organize, organize. Get friends and fellow dissatisfied people in your state and/or district together. Pick a likely upcoming conservative man or woman, promote him or her candidacy for next year's primary. No need to hold your nose and vote for the incumbent. That's what primaries are for.
Don't wait till 2008. Then it's too late.

Uh. I think we're coming up on some new races in 2008. The best way to get rid of the old riff raff is to vote in some new riff raff.
