If it is an online IQ test, don't take the score seriously - you might as well trash it. If it is a real IQ test where you went to a psychologist or certified proctor to take it, you should know how you did. A real and official IQ score of 133 is good.

IQ Range Classification

140 and over Genius or near genius
120-140 Very superior intelligence
110-120 Superior intelligence
90-110 Normal or average intelligence
80-90 Dullness
70-80 Borderline deficiency
Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness

Very Superior 128 and over 2.2%
Superior 120-127 6.7%
Bright Normal 111-119 16.1%
Average 91-110 50%
Dull Normal 80-90 16.1%
Borderline 66-79 6.7%
Defective 65 and below 2.2%

However, your age does not make the score any more or less impressive because on a real IQ test, your age would have already been taken into account.

Hope this helps and good luck in all you do! ;-)

If you took a legitimate IQ test, you should be able the refer to the report detailing your specific IQ scores, percentiles, and classification ranges which was written by a psych or other qualified professional. In that report, you'll find all the relevant info regarding what you IQ means.

In the event that you did not take a face-to-face IQ test administered by a professional, I wouldn't put much confidence in 133 being your true intellectual ability.

Also, here are the most commonly used classifications (based on WISC/WAIS)

69 and below - Extremely Low
70 to 70 - Borderline
80-89 - Low Average
90-109 - Average
110-119 - High Average
120-129 - Superior
130 and above - Very Superior

Average IQ is 100 and for most tests one standard deviation is set at 15 IQ points. If this was a properly conducted test, then you are 2.2 standard deviations above the average, or have a higher IQ than about 98% of the population.

You don't say what test was used. If it was a web-based test that you could repeat (and did) then your IQ is more likely to be the first result that you got, and not a more recent one.

There is no 'goodness' in IQ scores as such, only what you do with the ability that you have to learn and apply that usefully.

Depends on the scale that was used, but 133 is above average on any scale.

The thing to remember is that IQ tests are not really useful as anything more than a measure of intellectual potential. High IQ may indicate that your analytical skills are higher than average, but you're still not going to get anywhere without hard work.

There are plenty of highly successful people who do not have high IQ scores, but manage to leverage the skills they do have to be successful. By the same token, there are many people with high IQs who never achieve anything in life because they are not willing to work hard, or because they haven't developed the other skills that are necessary to succeed in the real world.

The last time I checked. Average IQ is from 80 to 120, gifted starts at 130 and genius is 160 or higher. Don't ask me why there's a gap between average and gifted. I'll check further...

The Terman test and most other standard IQ exams focus primarily on memory and analytical skills. The average score is 100. A score of 110 means the person is in the top 25 percent of the population, a score of 120 is in the top 7 percent and a score of 130 or higher is in the top 2 percent.

While it does tell you something about your intelligence, intelligence is not so easily quantified. Some poking around on the Internet and in some books might be warranted...
