For me it would be Hannibal Lector... I dunno anyone who could say " A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti. " While looking like he actually meant it...he seemed way into character on that for me.
Another I love but find strange is Edward Scissorhands...that whole thing was strange but Johnny Depp was really incredibly beautiful in this.
