I actually usually just say it once and am usually forgiven. If it takes more than that it usually means the other person is not ready to hear sorry just yet or has some other issues that they need to work out.

If that person is supposed to love you then an appology should be once. If they carry it like a stone to arm themselves to throw at you every time you encounter each other then move on ...Life is too short to sweat self centered people. Time mends everthing..

It depends on whether I really need to make sure they know I'm sorry, or if I'm just doing it because my guilt is working up. Probably 2 weeks.

It depends on what you want. if you did something that was really bad and you asked for forgiveness like 10 times the person gets it. I guess you have to forgive yourself to know when to stop asking for forgiveness

I feel if I did something wrong I apologize once and move on. If not I just skip the apology and move on. I do not live my life in guilt.

I'm Canadian .. we are born saying "I'm sorry". In grocery stores if people hit us with their shopping carts, we say we're sorry. We are a very apologetic nation, I really have no idea why.
