oh well.
i was sophomore this year and i just got my report card today.
i thought i would get a weighted GPA on my report card because i was taking several high level classes but
there is no weighted GPA on it.....
so i am just wondering when i could get a weighted GPA on
a report card.
and also Does the cumulateve GPA include my GPA from
freshmen year and sophomore year?

There was probably no weighted GPA because most things (applying to colleges, some scholarships) only actually look at your unweighted GPA; on a general report card, I usually only saw my unweighted GPA, I think. If you request a transcript, it should have the weighted GPA. The honors classes are, however, figured into your class rank-- class ranks are given by weighted GPA.
At least, this is how it worked at my high school.
Also, at my high school it was only the actual AP classes that counted toward a higher weighted GPA, not the pre-AP classes. So that might be another reason, depending on what classes you've taken.
And your cumulative GPA should be for all the classes you've taken thus far, including freshman year... that's why it's "cumulative."

The Ap or honors courses aren't always included in the average gpa BECAUSE they count towards college mostly. Also you could get a cumalative gpa at the end of your semester and final year. Also, cumulative gpa's only include the gpa from that year usually, so you would get an accumaltive gpa by the end of your schooling, hope that clears it up!

when u are a sophmore...honors classes aren't really weighted. i had honors math and english and chem. my sophomore year and chem. was the only weighted. from my knowledge...honors chem and honors pre-calculus are the only weighted classes. the rest aren't. they do help to make it into ap classes
