my car was stolen. a 2000 Kia Sephia. not a real hot car or a car you would take for parts. do you think i'll get it back

Our honda got stolen but we ended up getting it back the same day because the thief just stole it for a robbery then left it on the side of the road...If it's been more than a week, you probably might not get it back...most people aren't as lucky as we were. Hope you get it though, and hope the thieves will be caught!!!!!

My parents 84 Impala was stolen a week before Thanksgiving many years ago and they reported it to insurance, got a loaner car for a while and started looking for a new one...we went to Illinois for Thanksgiving and came back to Milwaukee at about 11 PM after driving in a big snow storm and just as we pulled into their driveway, my brother noticed a car driving by and exclaimed, "Hey, I think that's our car" we couldn't believe it but jumped back in the rental and chased after them---sure enough, we caught up and recognized our license plate number. Seems that some thieves turn to the scene of the theft to relive the excitement of stealing or whatever and we just happened to come home at the exact time they drove by. Well, we followed them for a while but there were 4 or 5 in the car and did not have a cell phone as yet to call police so we let them go. My youngest brother decided to track them down so he drove the streets and alleys of a certain area known for car theft and abandoned cars and sure enough found them driving the car a couple weks later one night...had gotten a cell phone by then and called the cops while he followed them to an partment complex---cops rushed in and swarmed the car, got the bad guys and we got our car back at 2 in the morning.

Yeah, I've had a car, well truck stolen years ago, and I got it back, after the doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. The cops actually thought I wanted it, woke up to a knock on my door with a cop informing me they found my truck and the wrecker was just driving off after delivering the blackened, once great, truck I had loved
