In the legal profession, where one attorney is disbarred in a state, all of the other states honor that disbarrment, giving full faith and credit to the punishment. This is so disbarred lawyers don't go state-to-state getting in trouble. Do you think NFL teams should agree to a similar policy so that when one team does the right thing to punish a discipline problem, another less scrupulous team doesn't try to get the player?
I think teams are fearful about really hitting players with discipline or cutting them for fear that they will lose the talent to another team or be big losers on the contract. Curious what you think of this, if it exists in any form in the NFL and if you don't think it would work, what solutions you would propose?
