ok, not to be negative or whatever, but you are only 17. can you provide the best for the baby you are wanting to bring into this world, right after you aborted a living being once before?? I'm sorry, but if you are that strong against abortion, you would have found a way around it. Are you in a strong relationship that is going to last? I myself would want to bring up a baby in a loving, steady home. Alot of things change, like yourself for one. I think that having a baby now would be a HUGE mistake, and it would totally be NOT fair to the baby because living off the state and government is NO WAY to bring up a little precious baby.

I think you should really think about the choice of bringing a baby into the world at the age of 18. There are so many women out there that would have taken your baby instead of having an abortion.

I don't think there shoud be any reason for you not to be able to concieve right after an abortion. unless there were problems from having it.
I had one Nov. 2005 I am now 7 1/2 months pregnant! as long as you went for a check up after having it and everything was fine I wouldnt worry.
Jennifer... that site was inapropiate, having an abortion is NOT an easy decision... sometimes theres other reasons for having one then just "getting rid of a baby" Just plain IGNORANT!

Please think about these questions before bringing a child into the world:
1. Does your husband (yes, it's very wise to be married before you have kids) make enough money to support three people?
2. Have you gotten an apartment or house that has enough room for a baby?
3. What kind of health insurance do you have?
4. Are you prepared to not party and hang out with your friends and to make your child your number one priority for the next 18 years?
As wonderful it is to want to bring a child in this world, you have to think about what that means. A kid is expensive and love won't buy diapers and healthcare. It's not fun to be on welfare and not able to buy what you need and want for your baby.
Focus on going to college or getting a good job and travel before creating a situation you may not be prepared for.

ok first of all. im 20 and i had my son when i was 17, my parents wanted me to get an abortion..BUT THERE IS NO WAY YOUR MOM CAN MAKE YOU GET AN ABORTION that is your decision not anyone elses. if you REALLY wanted that baby you could have had it. i personally dont think you should try again for another child so soon. because what if your mom MAKES you get rid of this one..then what? two lives will be wasted on your stupidity sorry im being so mean..i couldn't help myself

same as any miscarriage or loss, they suggest that you wait 2-3 menstrual cycles to make sure everything is back in order.
Not every abortion is done to end a life, so everyone knows. Some are done due to a fetal abnormality that will result in death, some due to a unplanned conception while a mother was on medication that has a toxic effect on a developing fetus. posting a link to a site of aborted babies is just cruel, especally if a person has suffered a loss and wants to have the chance to move on.

You can start ovulating as soon as a couple of weeks although for some women it takes a few months to get back to normal. But it also a good idea to wait a few months at least for your uterus and cervix to heal. Getting pregnant too soon could lead to miscarriage. You should also be taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthy for a few months before you try to conceive.

As soon as you ovulate again (like 2 weeks) so if you're trying to avoid pregnancy this time - you should think ahead...
