the second one!!!
I was warned to be careful of someone that gave me a ride in our small town when they seen me get in his car part of me thought "WHAT"...I had gone to church with this person...and also had coffee in their home too with his wife and we had a pretty good friendship...I was going through a divorce ,my child had died and my car broke down...
the next thing I knew his hand was on my tush when I got out of the car!!
I walked away and never looked back or spent time with his wife or him ever again!! Also his wife told me I was stupid when I left my spouse after a gun went off twice one winter while I was out walking to our mail box in the middle of the winter so I left!!!
Good question....also think "what is the motive behind the motive"
If they really are someone that cares about you and if your gut instincts are fl aired than sit up and listen!!!

Hi:
If I were warned about someone (and I was) I would have to take the warning seriously either way at first, but also try not to come to conclusions until I consider the situation, the person who I am warned about and where or what person the warning came from.
At that point I would take all that information, process it and then make my own judgement, as long as all the facts are in to make an informed decision.
Be safe and be well.

There's too much not known in your question. My decision would be based upon my relationship with and knowledge of the person warning me and the same would apply to the person about whom I was being warned.

i think it would have to depend on the situation. For example if someone said "don't have intercourse with that guy because he has aids "they are obviously looking out for my safety but if someone said "don't hang out with Julie because shes rich and everyone thinks shes stuck up" then i would think maybe they want to be friends with her and that they are jealous.

I would take both into consideration but I tend to have to judge people on my own point of view that I get from them!

i would look at it in both situations.there's a possibility that person is honest or lying to you.so if i were you i'd check it out myself.you are the better judge of your own decision making.

it depends who that someone was..if it was someone in my family then i would think the person was just trying to mess with my mind. if it were a friend, i'm not sure.

I would like to think that they are looking out for me, but kind of pay attention to see if they are telling the truth or not.

depends who told me, and what type of person they where, usually i don't judge based one what people tell me and decide for myself, but if it was a friend i would probably watch my back and just be careful, i trust my friends, or most of them anyway, and they would probably think its for my own safety
