when ever i like someone my mom always says 'why dont you just tell them?!' im like...duh! if i tell them and they dont like me back...thats kind of embarrassing! thats not the worst advice ever...but i definitely wont follow it! so i was wondering what terrible advice your parents have given you!♥

Hmm, the worst advice I was given was to deal with a bully i had during my Elementary School years was "be nice to them and they'll be nice to you". Fat chance, they just walked allover me, back to letting my fists do the talking.

You're right. That is pretty bad advice. Have you asked your mom if she would have done that when she was your age?
I honestly can't think of any bad advice my parents ever gave me. They were super strict and I hated them for a while (like all of high school...LOL) but I respect them for it now and realize that it helped make me who I am today. I have a great kid, a career I love, and I'm doing well financially and emotionally! I will probably be just as strict with my son as my parents were with me. Yes, he'll hate me when he's a teenager and that will be hard, but I'll gladly suffer through it if he grows up to be responsible, respectful, and happy in life.

ok yeah thats not even that bad, ur mom is actually right *gasp* yep parents are right every now and then lol.
my parents neve gave me BAD advice just naive advice when it came to my college classes as a freshman, needless to say its changed since they attended

Whenever I had a problem, my mom would tell me, to "just forget about it." I thought it was bad advice.

When my parents would tell me not to worry about the small stuff in life just the big things that I needed to worry about........That was a bunch of crap! It was all of the small stuff that got me in so much trouble...........
