How could you be in love with an X. Thats totally wrong. You have not moved on, and now you have involved another guy in this mix. Just tell your current boyfriend the truth, going backwards is not a good idea tho.

Very gently. The important thing to remember is that you're not doing either one of you any favors by staying with him. The longer you wait, the more hurt he will be.

Expect him to be hurt, maybe even angry. However, just be honest and patient when you tell him.

Just tell your little friend that you want to see your other little friend, too. You are not marrying. You are not even engaging. Shoot, child, have some fun. Date them both. Why even pretend exclusivity.

Call your boyfriend and your ex to the house and while they are both there tell your boyfriend it's over and turn around and kiss your ex to show him you mean business.

I would just tell him the truth... Yeah the truth can hurt but i would rather have the truth told to me then have been lied to. and have to find out from someone else.. The truth isnt always the best policy but i think at this point it is

Just be honest...it's not going to be fun but he'd find out eventually if you got back with your ex, so let him know that your heart is elsewhere and thank him for the time he spent with you.

just tell him the truth, be kind and gentle in the delivery. Your both adults. there are other factors to include on weather you are going to stay together or breakup too.
