(x+5) /3 - (x-3) /2
taking lcm as 6
[2(x+5) - 3(x-3) ] /6
= (2x+10 -3x +9) /6
=19 -x /6

(x+5)/3 - (x-3)/2
2(x+5)/2*3 - 3(x-3)/3*2
(2x+10)/6 - (3x-9)/6
drop the /6 and put it back under the answer
(2x+10) - (3x-9)
you forgot to take the subtraction sign and reverse the minus in front of the 9
(2x+10) + (-3x+9)
2x+10 - 3x+9
-x + 19
add the /6
(-x + 19)/6
