smelling, touching, hearing, seeing, and tasting....hm...
well, to SEE is very important, you can see your family, friends, children, etc. but wouldn't you want to hear them too? would you want to be deaf to their voices?
smell is very important. i was sick yesterday, and my nose was pretty bad. i couldn't smell a thing, and so then, i couldn't taste any food. i could just feel the food - touch. i didn't even finish my food, there was no appetite and food doesn't feel nice in your mouth when you can't taste it.
i don't know which one..

I would not live without the sense of touch. If i don't have touch, then i would not feel the warmth of the loved one. more than seeing family members, friends and children...i would rather express my love and concern for them with that warm caressing touch. Children, more than assuring voice of a significant adult, they want the assuring grip of an adult at the time of trouble. i can still eat without the sense of taste or smell. at a point when you NEED to eat for survival, sense of taste and smell are secondary. i sure hope this made sense.

If I only could have one, I would definitely go with touching. No question. I have my memories for the rest of them, but not being able to feel? Nothing is worse than that. What is the point of life if you can't feel anything? Sex would even suck!
If I only had to give up one, the sense of smell is a no brainer. It is nice, but you can definitely live without it.

All 6 please, i would always pefer to have all 6 of my senses no matter what, seeing, toutch, smell, taste, hearing, and common sense.
