We just had our driveway sealed. How long do we need to wait before driving on the concrete? Is 24 hours enough time or should we give it more? Any input would be appreciated.

Some companies told me 24 hours whereas others told me 48 hours. It could also depend upon what area you live in and the weather conditions during the process. But this time of year I would say 24 would be fine but I would still wait 48--it can't hurt and they won't come back and fix anything for free.

Sealer usually cures out in 24 hours. Fresh concrete would require at least 3 days cure before loading with a vehicle, up to a full 28 day cure.

Atleast a week (assuming its hot and sunny) on newly poured stuff. For the painted surface, I'd probably be safe and give it the same, make sure there is circulation, ie fans going every now and again. if its that clear sealer, that stuff is usually good to go after a couple days, but dont get it wet or anything for around a week. A week is a good time frame to go by to make sure everything is cured and hard. the last thing you want is to ruin one little spot that will be a pain to fix

Sealers are a thin coating and 24 hours should be enough.
