I was wondering where I could find strapping tape and what it looks like? Is it called anything other then strapping tape? What makes it different from other tapes, like ducttape?

strapping tape looks sort of like masking tape, but is more heavy duty- with fibers running through it., should be able to find it in any hardware store, Walmart, Target, etc. Relatively easy to find.

Strapping tape usually has fiberglass strands running through it. This reinforces it and makes it stronger. You can tear duct tape by hand, you cannot do this with strapping tape.

You can find it almost anywhere.
It has a hard fiber strands that work like bands on the box.
Stronger than duct tape because of the strands.
I don't know of any other names for it.
