I really don't know, the liberals think I'm too conservative and the conservatives think I'm too liberal. So I guess you could say I make up my own mind and don't really care if anyone agrees with me or not.

sure, nicely this in basic terms demonstrates that maximum folk finally end up being a contradiction in words. are you able to call that a paradox? on condition that the different is actual of course. as to if liberal conservatism could be embraced by ability of those conservatives who're greater liberal than incredibly conservative, i think of, is something that could desire to be debated liberally in a conservatory way.

Both, depending on the issue. For instance:

I'm for a market economy-conservative.

I'm against the death penalty-liberal

I'm for lower taxes-conservative

I'm against religion in public schools-liberal

I'm for controlling illegal immigration-conservative

I understand why people from Mexico want to come here-liberal

I think the economy is in good shape-conservative

I am pro gun control-liberal

I think CEO pay should be determined by the shareholders, not based on a multiple of the lowest paid employee-conservative

I'm against sweatshop labor-liberal

I understand why companies move their manufacturing overseas so that the cheaper labor costs make them more competitive-conservative

Some unions do a good job protecting workers-liberal

Most corporations understand the importance of their workers and unions there are not necessary-conservative

I could go on and on but you get the idea. I give thought to every issue before I take a stance. What this party or that party thinks is of no interest to me. So I'll leave it up to you folks. Am I a left wing radical or a right wing neocon?

BTW, I'm a registered independent and have voted for both republicans and democrats in the past. Stupid of me I suppose but I look for a candidate that can best do the job and expresses him/herself clearly on the issues and I completely disregard their party affiliation.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I never make voting decisions based on information that I obtain from the mainstream media. Gotta dig around to become informed that way but I kinda like thinking for myself instead of letting Sean Hannity or Michael Moore do it for me.

"""Conservative- I believe that smaller federal government, state's rights, and fiscal responsiblity are the best policies for America.

That's why I actually voted Democrat in the last few elections- the Republican party has abandoned those tenets. ""

I cant imagine that you actually think the democratic party is for those things... this is a good example of that people in the 2006 election didnt vote FOR the democrats they voted against the republicans... because they were disappointed in them.

Neither, because I am not convinced that those two ideologies can be considered as a good method to conduct or maintain people. I am more to socialist, since my political ideology is not based on violence or force but that everyone should have equal amount of warfare.
