How to get minor modeling jobs for a little extra $?

Question

I live in the waco/austin area and would even travel to dallas for some modeling jobs. Im not looking for anything like porn! But I do like to model (I have done some minor modeling) and I could use a little extra income. Does anyone know where/ what website I could go to for some ligit gigs? Craigslist.org seems full of porn and like I said, I dont want to do that. Any suggestions?

Send out your MODELING not porno pictures to agents. When you get a response contact them and sign a contract. Afterwards they will look for the jobs for you and they only get 10% when you make money off the modeling or acting job they gave you.

Kim Dawson has had a Modeling Agency in Dalls, for many years.

Call Kim and ask if you can come in for an appointment.
I don't know if she has specific days for meeting new models. She's very nice and not a scam.

I think she may also now be a Talent Agency for actors.

Affinity Talent. Go to their website and register. It's free. You'll get e mails frequently. Most jobs pay around $20/hour. It's not modeling work, but mostly promos. Like you might go to a Costco/Sam's Club for 6 hours and do a promotion for Dove soap, or Sunsilk, or whatever. Have nice pics *preferably professional* ready to email to them.

well i live in a tiny town and never even considered myself for modeling. i'll tell ya though..i just went down to my hair salon once and was asked to model in the 4th of july float and if she could take pics of me for her portfolio b/c i get my hair dyed all kinds of funky colors...so just being outgoing in your own town might help. :)
