People tell me that I look like Susan Sarandan -- insult or complement?

Sometimes they even say "YOU HAVE HER EYES!". This lowers my self-confidence because I think that she is bug-eyed and ugly.

You know who you are better than anyone else. It's more important what YOU think. If they think you look like Susan Sarandin, you can tell them, "No, I don't, I'm much more beautiful."
Susan Sarandin is not at all unattractive physically so don't get down on yourself if people think you look a little like her. What makes her ugly is the way she attacks people who don't agree with her view of the world. Don't do that.

I guess it depends on if they mean how Susan Sarandan looked in the past because I think she used to be pretty or how she looks now - not so pretty. I try to take everything as a complement. :)

Keep in mind that you can favor someone unattractive and not be unattractive. I don't think Susan is ugly, but I can see where your coming from too. I CAN see someone looking like her and not being bad looking at the same time. My mother told me a long time ago I look like Sophia Loren and I thought I would vomit.

They probably dont mean the size or shape but rather the color... I am sure they are meaning it as a compliment. She has never been by any means ugly.

It really depends on how old you are. if you're a teenager, I'd take it as an insult but If you're over 30, she's pretty.
