it might. It might be the discharge your body releases before you ovulate. There is still no telling when your period could start because teens are notoriously irregular. It's no big deal. Just buy some pads just in case.

I was 13 when mine started. That was almost 16 years ago so I don't remember a whole lot but I think it was more of a pink discharge than actual bleeding. It sounds normal to me. Perhaps talk it over with your mom, or if that's not an option, you can talk to your doctor or a local health clinic to get info and advice. They can also give you reassurance that everything is ok. And I would stock up next chance you get since you are on the road. It's hard to say when you will start an actual period if you start any time soon at all. Most girls are irregular until the age of 18 because of normal body changes and hormones. Stock up on some heavier items just in case and keep a good stock of the lighter for what's happening now. Good Luck!

Yes, what you're probably experiancing is cervical mucus. girls generally start producing it a year or two before they get their first periods. Women produce a lot of it when they are ovulating (releasing an egg) so if you are experiancing a lot more than usual you may be ovulating on your first cycle, which means you could expect your first period in about 2 weeks. If it's the normal amount you've had for the past ear or so then your period could come any time, probably within the next 6 months though. It's not gross, it's actually healthy to have because your body is at the point where it expects a guy may try to have sex with you and if you were dry you could be seriously injured, so it's there to protect you. It's healthy.

That is very normal. Just wear a light thin pad to catch the discharge. Your body is hitting puberty, there's going to be alot of weird things happeniing to you. That is sign you'll be starting soon. Take Pamprin Max or Mydol with you so if you start. That'll help with your cramping. Your perios lasts about 5-7 days. Good luck.

u could be starting your period soon, or u might have a yeast infection no its not that bad they have a simple prescription, maybe it is embarrassing to talk to your dad but maybe u should, just do it without so many details, daddy's are more understanding than u think, he probably dealt with this with your mom or someone else. Also try to keep up with the days of your period every month make a mark on the calendar or something the Dr's will ask u.

Your period might start in the next two weeks, but it will depend on what kind of discharge you are having. If its ovulatory fluid, then your period will start in 12-15 days (depends on the length of your luteal phase). But it could also be an infection or something.

You can get panty liners at any grocery store, discount store, drugstore, whatever. Even a convenience store. They are cheap and helpful in keeping you dry...which you need to be in order to avoid infection.

Don't worry having discharge is perfectly normal. It doesn't mean you'll start your period right now.
Wear a thin pad in your pants everyday thats what i do and it makes everything more comfortable

I think you are about to have your period. If you are air traveling they have those stores where the sell magazines they will most likely have tampons and pads there. or if you are traveling on land go to a cvs or a superstore like target and get you necessities. It is really easy to tell your dad but i don't have personal experience i actually told my mom because my dad was at work. besides just tell him you are going to need the stuff.
best of luck

Just ask your dad if you can have five bucks, and then go get a small pack of pantiliners if the discharge is bothering you...but the really tiny pantiliners will do. And if you get your period, then congrats!
