I notice when I smell bad. I check if it's hot or I've been sweating and usually have some deodorant with me anyway. Maybe the people you hang around that smell bad just don't care about their smell and the common courtesy of those around them... Possibly hippies back from one of their hippie jam fests?

well i think their noses must be broken if they cannot smell their own stink!!! when i am done working out i smell me! when i wake in the morning i know My breath don't smell sweet!! when i take my shoes off after a hot sweaty day i know they smell!! so whoever "can't" smell their stench better learn to admit that their **** does indeed stink!

the human brain becomes accustomed to odors rather quickly, especially when exposed 24/7, so being exposed to their own odors they simply don't notice anymore.
