It has already been done here. They repealed the law on hunting because it was bad for tourism around hunting season. $2000.00 per person a day was being lost because out of state hunters did not come around.
Poaching replaced them and more herds were damaged since most of the poachers were bad shots. Obviously did not practice at the rifle range with the NRA at their side.
Smoking just got moved outdoors here, and yet a few businesses opened their doors for the smokers afterward. Stopped the panic in the street when adults who did not smoking visible anywhere saw all those whinning, crying smokers hanging out on the corner by the drug store, who turned out to be old men and women who were back where they started.
Hiding the fact they were smoking is no longer necessary but I have seen them forget they are grown up and hide their cigerette almost as if they were back at school. You know, like I was the principal of the school walking among them on the main street in our little city. As soon as they see who is coming they all bring up the cigerettes just like when I was in boot camp too.
Prostitution will be next.
So outlaw them folks that are making all your legal stuff illegall before they take over your city.

I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to pass legislation to make smoking in your own home against the law.
What would I like to see outlawed next? I would like to see a law passed to prohibit ex-smokers from being vocal in the war against those of us who do smoke. Because we all know there is nothing more annoying then the self-righteous ramblings of that group of people.

alcohol, I know I'll win no backing but the costs of human misery is shocking.
alcohol rationing I think would be a great idea.
& ban binge drinking.
my friend a nurse tells me every night is a binge-drink night & the A&E dept fills with abusive, violent drunks or patching up innocent people following unprovoked assaults, where the perpetrators only excuse is " I was Drunk ".
domestic & child abuse has increased due to lack of curbs on drinking way passed the merry stage.
drink-drivers that think nothing of driving a potential lethal weapon after downing 20 pints of stella & have no regard for the people they could/may hurt, maim or kill.
let alone the diseases/illnesses draining NHS with an evitable leap in Liver diseases, ulcers & acute pancretitus.
I don't drink & really don't mind if people want to drink a few pints & have a laugh but I seriously wonder where common-sense went!

We have a smoking ban here in my city. As professional chef (my husband) and professional baker (me), we are seeing countless bar owner, restaurant owners, and others facing closure because they have lost the business of the smoking public to towns where smoking is not banned.
While I do understand that smoking is not a good thing, if smoking is permitted in a bar, what is the harm? It makes little sense to me - especially here in Indiana where more people smoke than the average of most other states.
I don't know what will be next - it is a bit worrisome, tho.

We must require helmets to ride in motorized vehicles. Think of all the head injuries that could be prevented if everyone had to wear a helmet.

They are going to ban smoking in your car next. Don't you find it strange that they have banned smoking but not the sale of tobacco. They want their cake and eat it.
