I like to think that you make your own luck, be it good or bad. It really depends a lot on opportunity.
Also if you are color blind, how would you know what color, unless of course it says on the pen.

I spent some time in Korea and they don't write in red because it's bad luck, if you wrote someone's name in red it was the most awful and insulting thing you could do. So in parts of Asia this is considered veeeerrry bad.

only if you have the intentions. I'm into white magick so I know this, if you wish bad luck on someone while writing their name in red ink it will work however, be willing to have it hit you threefold back

Well, if you write it in an area where you shouldn't have, you could get your butt kicked. I'd say that's bad luck, even if you brought it on yourself.

It depends on what your intentions are...and if it's in blood, or a special ink like bat blood ink, then yeah I'd say that would be bad. If it's just red ink and you don't mean harm then no...
