This is the best advice I can give you as an astrologer.

For a moment, forget about astrology. Don't look for cause and effect there. What do you like to do? What are your hobbies?

THAT is what you should be doing for a career.

I am meant to be a writer. I've known that for most of my life - I began to write short stories at 8, I've always wanted to become a writer. There were no two ways about it. It was only long after that, that I was told that even my natal chart shows the exact same thing. Maybe it's just coincidence (I'm just leaving this for those who don't believe in astrology and want to accuse me of wanting to believe too much) ... but it is true.

Okay not to offend you but how can you have a degree in engineering and believe in astrology? Astrology is not based on a science. I hope you do know that. As for deciding for you career, I suggest that you try out some apprenticeship/summer jobs at various engineering positions. And then you will find something that you like. You have to just try out different things. Just get a job, work for a few months to see if you like it. If not, then quit and get another job.

You really should have done this at the same time you were in school so that you would already know what youlikes and what you didn't like.

If you are REALLY confused then why don't you go for higher education. If you got a Bacherlor's degree, go back to school for a Master's.

Sometimes a person just needs some time to think and decide. Maybe that is what you need. So while you are going back to school, also try out different jobs to see what you like to do for the rest of your life.

There is not enough information to assist. As far as astrology not being science, that is true for almost all others but not mine. My data base is all direct observation using self sorting statistics. Engineering is solely about dealing with problems and finding solutions to those problems. This mode does not often lend itself to relationships as the engineer is always out to solve the perceived problem. Alice in dilbert discovered job satisfaction when she drinks alcohol. This metaphor actually fits as it breaks the engineer out of the problem solving mode. I would suggest you find some activity and be aware to avoid the problem solving.
