I'm compiling a list, and I'm hoping that all you guitar guys/gals can help!
What songs do you know where the guitar riff is the same as the vocal melody that happens at the same time?
I'm mostly interested in songs from the 1980s-90s hair rock era, but anything will do! A couple examples to help your thinking:
1) Motley Crue: "Dr. Feelgood" (chorus)
2) Black Sabbath: "Iron Man" (chorus)
3) Michael Jackson: "Smooth Criminal" (verses)
4) Skid Row: "Monkey Business" (chorus, and intro--kind of)
5) Guns N' Roses: "Don't Damn Me" (intro/chorus)

Going Down On Love - John Lennon (in the intros, but it is a really great part)
I'm sure I know more, but for some reason that is all that is coming off the top of my head. I'll check back in if I think of any more.
